Additional information | Satellite L-band. Mobile Earth station (terminals) are controlled by satellite system. The use of the band 1613.8–1626.5 MHz is, in accordance with 5.365, subject to coordination under RR provision 9.11A. The use of the band 1610–1626.5 MHz by the mobile-satellite service (Earth-to-space) is conditioned by specification of technical parameters listed in 5.364 and coordination under RR provision 9.11A. In accordance with 5.368, the RR provision 4.10 does not apply for the mobile-satellite service (i.e. requirements for protection of radionavigation and safety services). Stations of the mobile-satellite service using the band 1610–1626.5 MHz shall, in accordance with 5.372, not cause harmful interference to stations of the radio astronomy service using the band 1610.6–1613.8 MHz. |
